I’m back with another review for you of a silicone case for your Playstation Vita that should protect it from most minor bumps and scuffs. The case is silicone as mentioned and it covers the sides and back of the Vita while allowing full access to all of the buttons and ports. The price is about $12 so it’s not exactly expensive, but is it even worth that? Read on…

The Review::
There isn’t much to the packaging, just a plastic bag.
The case is plain black, well it’s actually more of a textured style to the outer surface.
The case has slots openings for all of the buttons and ports and of course the camera.
Ok so now we’ve got my Vita next to the case:
The case is silicone but it doesn’t have much give to it like other silicone style cases do as it’s much thicker than common silicone cases are. To get it on my Vita it did take a bit of extra work stretching and getting it to fit correctly.
The case only covers the back and sides of the Vita, it wraps around and sort of hooks onto the front.
As I said the case is open to allow access to ports and buttons and the camera.
Here’s the back view, it’s fully cut open to leave the back touch pad open for use.
I did run across some slight manufacturing defects that you may have noticed in the above pictures. The ones around the camera and back touch pad aren’t really an issue but the one on the front is I think.
The front section of the case just won’t sit flat against the Vita and aesthetically it just doesn’t look good at all sticking up like that.
Conclusion:
The PS Vita Silicone case isn’t a bad product especially if you consider the price of it. I guess you can’t expect something to be perfect and inexpensive as well right?
The case should offer decent everyday protection for the sides and back of the Vita from minor bumps and scrapes.
There are a few manufacturing flaws that might bother some people.
I have the official PlayStation Vita Leather case my Vita won’t fit in it with the silicone case on.
