The successor to the popular BlackBerry 9780 will launch on November 25th… in Indonesia. The phone, which will be called the BlackBerry Bold 9790, and appears near the top of the BlackBerry range, just under the 9900 series.

The handset includes a fairly good (for a BlackBerry) set of specifications. There’s that full QWERTY hardware keyboard, a 2.44” touch screen that runs at 360 x 480 and a single core CPU running at 1 GHz. The phone runs on the latest version of the BlackBerry OS, 7, and includes a micro-SD card slot to complement the 8 GB of internal storage.

The phone will be sold in Indonesia for the equivalent of $510, £325 or €380. No word yet if those pricing figures will actually be reflected in the international release, but with the 25th of November rapidly approaching we should hear more news on that front in the very near future.
