I have no clue what this means exactly… but whatever..

Zepp Labs, a leader in sport technology, announces its latest addition to the Zepp Multi-Sport platform, Result Tagging. For the first time in the history of baseball and softball, players can now leverage the power of 3D swing analysis and actual swing results to learn precisely what swing mechanics consistently produce the best outcome.

“For decades, athletes and coaches have struggled to connect their training with actual performance results,” says Jason Fass, CEO of Zepp Labs. “Knowing exactly what you did to create a specific outcome is fundamental to improving at any skill. With Result Tagging, players are now literally one tap away from setting intelligent data-driven goals to maximize sport performance. It’s a breakthrough that will help players and coaches at all levels.”

The beauty and power of Zepp’s new Result Tagging system is its simplicity and ease of use. Users start by simply tagging individual swings with information like hit type (line drive, fly ball, grounder, foul), hit direction (left, center, right) and even ball exit speed when using a radar gun. Once tagged, the Zepp system analyzes each swing and produces a detailed report with valuable swing performance insights. Since no two players are the same, Zepp also helps users set personalized swing goals to more consistently produce successful results like more line drives or powerful hits.

In addition to the new Result Tagging feature, Zepp is proud to announce a new platform partnership with Pocket Radar giving users the ability to input ball exit speeds using their Ball Coach pro-level radar gun. Ball exit speed, or the top speed of the ball after contact with the bat, is the leading way to measure a hitter’s power.

“We’re thrilled to be working with the team at Zepp Labs to combine the power of radar data and 3D swing analysis,” said Steve Goody, CEO of Pocket Radar. “Athletes now have the data they need to practice smarter and get better faster.”

The Zepp Multi-Sport Sensor is available at www.zepp.com for $149.99 and many fine retailers around the world. The Zepp Baseball App is free to download on the App Store™ and Google Play™ Store. The new Result Tagging feature is available today for iOS® and coming soon to Android.
