OGIO International, innovator of uniquely intelligent bags that deliver flair for travel, business, sports and casual use, announces the opening of its second retail location in China. Set in Shanghai’s Super Brand Shopping Mall in the Pu Dong  New District, the retail store is open now. Serving as the busiest mall in Shanghai, it was officially made available to the public New Year ’s Day 2014.

OGIO embarked on its first retail opening only a mere two months ago, announcing the new store presence in Beijing’s Aegean Shopping Mall on October 30, 2013. The immense success and consumer receptiveness of this store accelerated the second opening in neighboring Shanghai.

Top-selling bags and apparel from OGIO will be found in the Super Brand Shopping Mall. With the company’s vast product offering in a variety of sectors, patrons will enjoy the luxury of availability to Golf, Motor Sports, Endurance Sports and Lifestyle bag and apparel collections.

“We are excited that our brand is experiencing the same explosive growth in China that we are seeing here in the US and throughout the rest of the world,” said OGIO CEO Tony Palma. “We are poised for another record year in 2014, as our new Golf, Lifestyle and Power Sports Collections are right on trend and building off of a record year in 2013.”

“The strong consumer demand for the OGIO brand in China at the Beijing location accelerated our plans for this second store,” said EMG CEO Jimmy Chao. “Our team based in China is aggressively marketing the OGIO brand including key celebrities such as the winner of the popular show “The Voice” of China, Ping An,” said OGIO’s GVP of International Mark Talarico. “These personalities embody OGIO’s adrenaline driven style and fashion.”

OGIO plans to continue this considerable manifestation in China’s retail market with future openings scheduled for Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Chongqing and Shenzen.
