Yep, MapHook is now available on Android devices…

MapHook, the location-based journal application, recently launched an Android version of its mobile application. The Android version of MapHook offers all of the same great features as the original iPhone app, including the ability to share Hooks via Facebook, Twitter, and e-mail. The Android app also includes MapHook’s newest features, such as filters to enhance your pictures, push notifications to keep your friends updated on your activities, and the ability to create map-based Stories (Hooks that are linked together allowing users to pin a series of events at multiple locations and share with others).

“We are excited to expand our user base by offering a mobile version of MapHook to Android users,” said Dr. Paul Carter, President & CEO of MapHook, Inc. “We hope that Android users will enjoy MapHook’s portable journaling and social media features as much as our other users already have.”

MapHook has been steadily expanding its mobile capabilities and functions while partnering with popular international organizations to help advance awareness of worthy causes, bring communities closer together, and provide users with new opportunities for fun life experiences. The addition of the Android application to MapHook’s suite of mobile applications and platforms enables MapHook to offer more choices for its growing user base. The MapHook app for Android devices is available in the Google Play store; the app is also available for the iPhone in the iTunes store.
