At the moment I’ve got a few tablets, why I have all of them I’m not exactly sure, but I think I have them for choices as they are all different sizes. Tablet though aren’t exactly what I would call rugged, they all very fragile plain and simple and they need protection for sure. I like sleeves, especially the neoprene as they seem more durable and they don’t add much bulk or weight. Yes they’re not hard cases but they’re meant to go in something else, but of course they can be used by themselves if need be. So today for review I have the V7 Ultra Protective Sleeve for 10.1” Tablets that’s made from neoprene and inside it has a lot of little, what look like bubbles, for protection. It’s actually a cool little case, so read on to learn more…

The Review::
So the sleeve was shipped with some other stuff, and it was just in a plastic bag, nothing special but then it doesn’t really need anything.
The sleeve I got for review is black in color with neon green scents and the V7 logo on the front corner. As I mentioned the case is neoprene, so it’s stretchy and durable. neoprene is great stuff, it has tons of uses really.
There’s nothing on the back at all, it’s just plain.
The inside is a rather striking bright green with protective soft padded bubbles in it.
Here’s a couple closer looks at the inside of the sleeve so you can get a better look at those bubbles. They really are soft and should offer a lot of protection for the tablet inside of the sleeve.
So this sleeve is supposedly for tablet sized up to 10.1” and my Acer Iconia A500 is a 10.1” tablet, at least that’s what they say it is.
So I put that 10.1” tablet in the sleeve and it didn’t fit?! It sticks out past the edges of the sleeve and I tried to close it but it just wasn’t happening. At first I thought it was because of the silicone case I had on the tablet so I took it off, and it still didn’t fit. So I’m rather confused as this is supposed to be a sleeve for 10.1” tablets, but it’s really not apparently.
So I opted for a smaller tablet, my Idolian Mini Studio 8 which is an 8” tablet and it fit perfectly fine in the V7 sleeve with room to spare.
I then moved up to my Le Pan TC970 with is a 9.7” tablet and this is a better fit and I could close the sleeve. The V7 sleeve is made for smaller than 10.1” obviously.
Conclusion:
So it’s a sleeve for tablets and it works fine for the most part. The V7 sleeve is supposed to fit up to 10.1” tablets but yet my 10.1” tablet doesn’t fit in it. I’m not sure what’s up with that?!
If you have a smaller than 10.1” tablet then this sleeve will work great for you as it does offer a great deal of protection for the tablet inside.
You can use the sleeve as is of course, but personally I’d put it inside of something else, but that’s just me as I like my tablet protected as much as possible.
