Need something to hold your Windows 8 phone in your car? Then check these out…

ProClip USA, a distributor of vehicle specific mounts for mobile phones and other devices, has announced new holders now available for recently released phones running Windows 8.

ProClip currently has phone holders for two Windows 8 phones, the Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC 8X. Soon ProClip will also have holders in stock for the HTC 8S and Nokia Lumia 810, 820 and 822. ProClip expects to have these holders ready for purchase between mid-December to late January.

For Nokia Lumia 920 custom phone holders, ProClip is offering a standard holder with tilt swivel, a charging holder with cigarette lighter adapter and a charging holder for fixed installation. All three holders are currently available for pre-order and should be in-stock and ready to ship starting the week of December 10th.

On the HTC side, ProClip also has three custom phone holders for the HTC 8X in the same styles as the Lumia 920: standard holder, charging with cigarette lighter adapter and charging for fixed installation. The standard HTC 8X holder is in stock now and the charging holders are on pre-order and will be ready to ship starting December 17th.

All holders feature tilt swivel so they can be rotated 360 degrees for use in either portrait or landscape mode, ideal for using the GPS on the phone. The holders tilt 20 degrees so they can be situated in the perfect position for each person and to avoid glare on the phone’s screen. These holders are meant to be used with phones that do not have a case or skin on them.

Don Rankin, COO of ProClip USA, says the company plans to offer the same three types of holders for the other Windows 8 Phones for which they are working on holders. “We’ve had a lot of inquiries about these holders. Offering our three most popular holder designs for all of the Windows 8 Phones allows us to give everyone the type of holder they are most likely to want.”
