Yeah I’m a little late posting this, but hey, better late than never right?!

Runic Games, Inc. (“Runic Games”), a developer of PC and console game entertainment software in the United States, is pleased to announce that its second game, TORCHLIGHT II, has been launched and is now available.

Gamers can pick up their copy of Torchlight II as a digital download from Steam, Runic Games, Perfect World GamersGate, GameFly, and GameStop, now.

President and Project Lead Travis Baldree said, “I’ve never been more proud of something, or of the people who have made it happen. We hope you enjoy the game as much as we do, and don’t begrudge us the time we’ve taken to make the game we intended. A lot of love was put into this game. We hope to see you online!”

Runic Games’ CEO, Max Schaefer comments, “We are so happy to be releasing Torchlight II. This is the culmination of an incredible effort by a wonderful team of people. I think we have the best community in gaming, and I can’t wait for them to get their hands on our game. Let the clicking commence!”

Torchlight II was announced in August 2010, as the sequel to Runic Games’ debut Torchlight. The sequel features an expansive overworld, four new classes, and multiplayer games via LAN or Internet, providing a much larger world, a deeper gameplay experience, and hours of replayability.

A free playable demo is now available online, at Steam and Runic Games.
