Been a while since I’ve posted the Mobile Fun roundup, but here it is!
The Nexus 7 really looks like a great little tablet and perfect for those who want to try out a tablet without paying through the roof – I’ve actually just ordered one for my boyfriend for his birthday. The 7″ display and quad-core processor means that visuals are seen in great quality and the tablet runs at speeds to rival that of more expensive ones. What’s really special about the Nexus 7 though is that it’ll be the first tablet to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which is thought to have a number of improvements from ICS.
The Nexus 7 is out in 2-3 weeks so keep an eye on the site as we’re starting to source Google Nexus 7 accessories, especially Google Nexus 7 casesand covers 🙂
A new product we’ve got in stock this week is from Braven and is a highly portable and high fidelity audio speaker, which also doubles up as a phone charger. It’s really sleek in its design and even supports hands-free calling. I really don’t think i can do this product any more justice than the official videodoes – so take a nose at that just to see how amazing these speakers are. Prices for the Braven start from £129.99, but you really do get so much for your money.
Another new product we’ve sourced this week is the Freedom i-Connex 2 Universal Bluetooth keyboard – I had a little play with this keyboard earlier on in the week and found it to be extremely clever – plus the fact that it folds and comes with a pouch makes it even easier to carry around. The keyboard runs off 2 AA batteries so doesn’t drain any power from your phone – you simply pair it through bluetooth and off you go! There’s even a hidden compartment which houses a stand for your phone in the keyboard, making this keyboard great for use on trains especially. The keyboards is £54.95 and available for pre-order now.
Jays are really popular headphones, so it’s come as no surprise to me to see that we’ve sourced another pair – the a-Jays One+ Earphones in white are compatible with most handsets and even have an app for Android handsets to assign tasks based on how many times the headphone button is clicked. The Jays headphones are sleek in style and use a noise isolating 8.6mm dynamic speaker so that music is heard in the way it was intended. The Jays have 5 different sized ear plugs too so that they can be worn in the best of comfort for long periods of time. They’re available for pre-order now.
Over at GearZap, they’ve sourced this pretty cool Asus Transformer TF300 case – it has complete protection with the front cover doubling up as a stand to help with typing and swiping. The case is made by Tuff Luv so great quality is assured, as is the perfect fit for the TF300 – plus the case is genuine leather, meaning that it’s more hard wearing than others. This case isn’t available yet but will be soon..
Finally over at LoveCases, they’ve received stock of the highly anticipated and high quality Gariz camera case range. Available for a number of different camera styles such as the Sony NEX-5N and the Panasonic Lumix GX1, there’s a variety of half cases, lens cap holders, straps and camera bags available. With stunning designs and finishes, the Gariz range offers luxury protection for cameras.
