Epesitec Launches Consumer Electronics Division, $249 High-End Android Tablet Computer

Hmm.. another Android tablet enters the market. The $249 tablet is is on that has 3G, but you can get a wi-fi only one for $189, and that’s not bad, especially since it has a capacitive screen!

 

Epesitec, Inc., a division of an international LTE consulting organization, launched its first consumer electronics product today, the E516, with the following specifications:

7-inch capacitive screen (double touch)

Android 2.3

512 RAM, 4GB Nand Flash storage, expandable to 32 GB

Freescale 1.2 GHz processor with PowerVR Series5 Graphics Processor

Front and rear camera (3.0MP)

Epesitec is offering the 3G E516 for $249 suggested retail price. The price for the “WiFi only” E515 will be $189 with the same specifications as the E516. The devices will be distributed by partners and mobile phone carriers starting November 1st on a worldwide basis.
