Bio:  Spyro hails from a rare line of magical purple dragons that come from a faraway land few have ever traveled.  He has been on many exciting adventures, and has a remarkable knowledge of the different lands he protects, more so than any other Skylander.  A strong‐willed dragon who is young at heart, Spyro is fearless and brave.  A true hero dedicated to defending his world from all things evil.

Trigger Happy
No Gold, No Glory!

Element:  Tech

Primary Attack:  Gold Coin Shooters
Secondary Attack:  Safe Cracker Bomb

Upgrades include:

o   Pot O’ Gold
o   Golden Super Charge
o   Coinsplosion

Bio:  Trigger Happy is more than his name, it’s his solution to every problem.  Nobody knows from where he came.  He just showed up one day blasting gold coins everywhere with his custom‐crafted shooters.  Now everyone throughout the lands knows of this crazy goldslinger that will take down any bad guy… usually without bothering to aim.

Gill Grunt
Fear The Fish!

Element:  Water

Primary Attack:  Harpoon Gun
Secondary Attack:  Water Cannon

Upgrades include:

o   Boiling Water Hose
o   Water Jet Pack
o   Anchor Cannon

Bio:  For many years Gill Grunt peacefully lived deep in the oceans until a nasty band of pirates kidnapped his Mermaid girlfriend.  He then took to land and sea to search for her, eventually joining the Skylanders to help defend the world from every kind of foe… but especially pirates.  Gill Grunt is one fish that never lets evil off the hook.

Slash And Burn!

Element:  Fire

Primary Attack:  Flaming Sword
Secondary Attack:  Fire Spirit

Upgrades include:

o   Scorching Blade
o   Fire Forged Armor
o   Incinerate

Bio:  On his first quest as a knight, Ignitor was tricked by a cunning witch into wearing a magical suit of armor that he was told would resist fire from a dragon.  As it turned out, it was made of cursed steel.  He journeyed to a dragon’s lair where a single blast of fire transformed him into a blazing spirit, binding him to the suit of armor for eternity.  Despite this setback, Ignitor remains a spirited knight who is always fired up to protect the lands from evil and find the witch that tricked him.

Born To Burn!

Element:  Fire

Primary Attack:  Lava Lob
Secondary Attack:  Eruption

Upgrades include:

o   Mega Magma Balls
o   Heavy Duty Plasma
o   Super Eruption

Bio:  Eruptor is a force of nature, hailing from a species that lived deep in the underground until a volcano launched their entire civilization onto the crust.  He’s a hot head with a strong dislike for anything evil, so whenever something bad threatens his world, he quickly erupts… quite literally.  To help control his temper, he likes to relax in lava pools, particularly because there are no crowds.

Primary Attack:  Energy Beams
Secondary Attack:  Shard Summon

Upgrades include:

o   Chained Refraction
o   Crystalline Armor

Secondary Attack:  Acorn Spit

Upgrades include:

Primary Attack:  Electric Bolt
Secondary Attack:  Water Surge

Upgrades include:

o   Electro‐Slime
o   Mega‐Volt
o   Wave Rider

Zap is a water dragon who was raised in the seas of Skylands by a family of electric eels.  Although he is friendly and well liked by most sea creatures, he has a long standing feud with the dolphins.  They don’t like that he regularly shocks them by accident when they ride the ocean waves together, and he usually takes offense at the dolphins saying the shocks are no accident… and sometimes they’re right.  But despite these minor differences of opinion, Zap has proven to be a true protector of the seas and of Skylands.

Element:  Fire

Primary Attack:  Flaming Arrows
Secondary Attack:  Fire Dash

Upgrades include:

o   Searing Arrows
o   Firestorm
o   Inferno Blast

Bio:  Flameslinger is an elf archer with incredible aim.  In fact, he is so good that he wears a blindfold just to prove it.  When he was young, he rescued a fire spirit from a watery doom and was gifted an enchanted bow and magical fire boots that he now masterfully uses to defeat evil throughout Skylands.  With the scorched earth he leaves behind, you can always tell where he has been.

Slice And Dice!

Element:  Undead

Primary Attack:  Sword Slash
Secondary Attack:  Arkeyan Shield

Upgrades include:

o   Spiked Shield Bash
o   Arkeyan Vorpal Blade
o   Vampiric Aura

Bio:  Chop Chop was once an Elite Guard belonging to the ancient Arkeyan beings.  Like many of the Arkeyans, he was created from a hybrid of elements ‐ in his case, undead magic and technology.  The Arkeyans had created massive armies of synthetic soldiers, and the Elites were the most powerful of these.   Chop Chop is a relentless, highly skilled warrior who wields a sword and shield made of an indestructible metal.  Refusing to believe that his people had disappeared, Chop Chop was scouring the kingdom looking for an Arkeyan leader to give him his next set of orders when he was found by Eon and recruited as a Skylander.

Dark Spyro
All Fired Up!

Element:  Magic

Primary Attack:  Flameball
Secondary Attack:  Horn Charge

Upgrades include:

o   Flight
o   Fire Shield
o   Triple Flameballs

Spyro is a rare magical dragon with the ability to harness the power of the other elements, though he prefers to master fire.  However, this innate power also leaves him vulnerable to the influence of dark magic.  When the Darkness is nearby, Spyro can channel its energy and combine its power with his own, becoming Dark Spyro.  Over the years, he has learned to focus and control his power, using this dark magic to fight the forces of evil.

Stealth Elf

Axe First, Questions Later!

Element:  Magic

Primary Attack:  Axe Reaver
Secondary Attack:  Zipline Axe

Upgrades include:

o   Magical Tripwire
o   Extended Blade
o   Electro Axe

A highly decorated soldier of his people, Voodood once commanded a well‐known team of dangerous warriors.  After becoming its last living member, he joined the Skylanders.  Ever since he was a young orc, Voodood has collected rare and interesting bones that he uses to create weapons and devices ‐ his favorite being the grappling hook, which grants him tremendous agility in combat.  When not fighting evil, he is constantly searching for new and exotic bones to expand his collection.

Rock And Roll!

Element:  Earth

Primary Attack:  Tail Swipe
Secondary Attack:  Rock Roll

Upgrades include:

o   Iron Tail
o   Mace of Destruction
o   Gaia Hammer

Bash spent most of his early dragonhood gazing into the sky, watching the flying creatures of Skylands soar amongst the clouds.  Determined to join them, he learned how to curl himself into a ball and roll with incredible momentum in a vain attempt to take flight.  Over the years, his skin hardened, forming a natural protective armor unlike any other creature.  He now thunders through Skylands, leaving a wake of destruction against any who threaten it.  Despite his thick skin, he still gets a bit touchy about his inability to fly.

Sonic Boom

Sonic Boom
Full Scream Ahead!

Element:  Air

Primary Attack:  Sonic Roar
Secondary Attack:  Egg Toss

Upgrades include:

o   Loudmouth
o   Griffin Flight
o   Egg Shocker

Long ago Sonic Boom took refuge high atop a mountain peak in the far reaches of Skylands.  Away from the mystical dangers of the outside world, she had hoped to keep her griffin hatchlings safe.  But despite her precautions, a devious wizard tracked her down and placed a wicked curse on the griffin eggs.  Once hatched, the young griffins can live for only mere moments before they magically return to their shells… only to be hatched again in an endless cycle.  Wanting to prevent such evil from happening to others, Sonic Boom joined the Skylanders and has trained her young to defend Skylands each time they are hatched.

In  Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure™, you can  Bring Your Toys to Life™ in a boldly innovative adventure
game where players collect real-world interaction figures and teleport them directly into the game using
a mystical Portal of Power.

Propelled by a story-driven adventure, penned by Academy Award-nominated  Toy Story feature film
writers, Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow, players take  on the role of a powerful Portal Master who can
control over 30 different characters, including the beloved fire-breathing dragon Spyro.  Players will
embark on a fantastical journey into an amazing world, where they will explore mysterious, mythical
lands, battle menacing outlandish creatures, collect gold and treasures, and solve interesting puzzles
while on a quest to save their world from Kaos, an evil Portal Master.

Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure changes the way we look at toys and videogames, as well as how we
interact with them by introducing action figures that become interaction figures and remember all of their
dynamic experiences created in the game.  For the first time ever, players can personally customize and
power-up their toys, as well as bring them to life on a friend’s Portal of Power for co-op play and player-versus-player arena battles.  Additionally, with the freedom to change characters whenever they like,
Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure allows kids to utilize different interaction figures and strategies each time
they play.

  Interaction Figures – Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure offers over 30 characters to bring out the kid in
everyone.  It’s all about choice, and each interaction figure has their own unique and expressive
personality, powers and abilities which provide distinct advantages and skill sets for various levels,
obstacles and enemies.
o  Toy Cross-platform Playability – For the first time ever,  Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure
introduces “Cross-platform Playability.” In an entertainment breakthrough for the video
game and toy industries, players will be able to collect a variety of interaction figures and
bring them to life using the innovative Portal of Power across a variety of transmedia
experiences, including consoles, handhelds, mobile devices and in the Web World.
o  Toys with Brains – Action figures become interaction figures as each toy contains a “brain”
that remembers the player’s shared experiences and leveled-up abilities (e.g. stats, ability and
attack upgrades, and gold collected) created in the game directly within each toy. This allows
players to personally customize and power-up their characters, as well as take their
interaction figures on-the-go to bring them to life on a friend’s ‘Portal of Power’ for co-op
play and player-versus-player arena battles.
o  Categories, Strategy & Collectability – Interaction figures are classified by element types
(Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Life, Undead, Magic, and Tech) and each has their own heroic
challenges that are unlocked as more characters are collected.  Players can collect and then
strategically select their favorite characters within the different element types to go up
against certain enemies, obstacles, and puzzles as well as access new areas within the
different levels of the game.

  The Portal of Power – The mystical Portal of Power serves as a gateway between our world and the
amazing game world, allowing you to ‘Bring Your Toys to Life’ by teleporting real-world toys directly
into the game for players to control when placed upon the Portal of Power.

  Exploration – As the tale unfolds, players will encounter a variety of vivid environments, each with
its own unique look and feel, and each providing different challenges, puzzles, and the discovery of
secret areas, rewards and mini-games.

  Co-Operative Play – Players can join forces with friends and drop in and out of each level with as
many different interaction figures as they like.  Different strategies can come into play as players can
select their favorite characters to tag-team against certain obstacles, hazards and/or enemies within
the different levels of the game.

  Player vs. Player  –  A classic battle mode provides a selection of different game modes and arena
maps for players to face off against each other. Each unique arena map contains a variety of obstacles,
hazards and power-ups.  Players will want to make sure they build up their army of different
characters and level them all up to battle their friends on equal ground.
