PDP Pull & Go Folio for Nintendo 3DS Review

Filed under: Gaming,Nintendo 3DS Accessories,Reviews |

When I got my Nintendo 3DS one the first accessories I got was a case, and there were many to choose from so I picked one that I found unique and quite usable. The case is from PDP and it’s called the Pull & Go Folio that will allow you to not only protect your 3DS on the go, but it will allow you to take many games, an extra stylus and even a spare power supply with you. The name Pull & Go comes from the fact that it’s actually two cases in one, the large one and a smaller one that attaches to the case with velcro just housing your 3DS and a couple games. I like this case a lot, if you’re looking for case then you seriously need to take a good look at this one from PDP.

Info:

The Review::

The Pull & Go Folio doesn’t really come in a box or package just a cardboard slip cover.

On the PDP site it lists you can get the Folio in blue or black, but if you head over to Amazon you can also get it in green or pink. I got black as that’s what I like. The case is very plain looking with just the Nintendo 3DS logo in the bottom right corner of the front. The case is rather stiff and made of nylon, overall it fells very well made and should protect your 3DS very well.

The back is just plain, nothing there.

The Folio is closed with a nice sturdy zipper that goes all the way around with a Nintendo logo on the zipper pull.

When you open the Folio up on the left side you’ll see the smaller case and mesh pocket, while on the right side are elastic places for games and a smaller one for an extra stylus.

The right side is actually pages like a binder for your games with the ability to hold 27 cartridges. Sadly there is no place for your AR cards to go, but I just toss them in there and they’re fine I think, works for me.

The smaller case is just held in place by velcro and you can take it with you. It holds the 3DS very snugly, and there’s space for two games as well.

Conclusion:

The entire PDP Pull & Go Folio is just excellent in my opinion, it’s very versatile and nicely made. The case will fully protect your 3DS along with giving you the ability to take games and an extra power supply with you. The smaller case is a nice bonus so you can just take your 3DS and a couple games with you and not the entire Folio.  When I’m home I keep my 3DS in the Folio, then when I go somewhere I just take the smaller case with three games, one in the 3DS and then two in the pockets. You could take the whole Folio with your of course, but for short trips I think the smaller case is just fine.

The price is $17.99, which I think is well worth the cost for all of the features the folio has. If you need a case for your 3DS then you want this one as it’s just great really.
