The Review::
The packaging is fairly simply, just clear plastic with a cardboard backing.
Inside you’ll find several things like three Styli, two single 3DS game cases, a folding case that can hold four games, a cleaning cloth and screen protectors. All this for about $10, not bad I think.
The styli are very nice, they’re metal and plastic just like the original.
In fact here’s the original 3DS stylus and the Power A one. The original is in the front, there’s really no difference.
The games cases are hard plastic, you’ll get a single clear one, a single smoke version and a smoke colored one that can hold four games.
The cleaning cloth is used for not only future maintenance but to prep your 3DS to install the included screen protectors for both screens.
I got the bottom screen protector installed easily, it’s straight forward just like any other screen protector. The top screen protector was another issue though. I didn’t get it on perfectly straight the first time so I had to move it and the corner got bent, very easily I might add, and now it doesn’t sit perfectly flat. I’ve installed many screen protectors in my time and never had one bend like this one did, I was very careful with it but it just bent so easily.
Conclusion:
The Power A Clean and Protect Kit is something I think every Nintendo 3DS owner should go out and get. It’s certainly well worth it for the price and for everything you get in this little kit. Most of the stuff in the kit is and can be useful. The extra styli are nice, and it’s always good to have extras.
In my opinion, screen protectors are a must for any device with a screen, I have to have them and the ones that come with this kit seem as though they’ll do a good job at protecting the screens. The only concern is that you’ll really need to be careful putting them on as they bend very easily.
