News for July 10th 2011– Lazy Sunday Edition
So it’s Sunday and it’s time for the news from our friends around the world. I’m happy that Netflix has finally added Star Trek to instant, but I’m still not happy about the new interface. I’m guessing they don’t care that their customers don’t like it, we just have to deal with it I guess. People say just quit and show them you don’t like it by not giving them your money, but the problem there is there’s nothing comparable to Netflix out there right now. I’ve looked and I can’t find a service that does everything that Netflix can, so there is no substitute sadly, or else I would gladly switch to another service that listens to their customers concerns. We’re just stuck with it apparently. They’ve got over 5000 complaints on their blog but they say people are happy with it?! There’s only 5000 on their blog because that’s the limit on the comments, so I’m sure there would be more. it’s a shame that they won’t listen to their customers concerns, it’s a great service really. It’s also a shame that there is nothing out there to compete with it really.
