Protective Game Card Cartridge Cases for NDSi/NDS/NDS Lite Review

I’m back with a quick review for you of some cases basically, they’re cases for your Nintendo DS cartridges. They don’t have a fancy name just Protective Game Card Cartridge Cases for NDSi/NDS/NDS Lite and it’s a five pack of them that I got from Deal Extreme for only $4.68. Yes it’s a very basic product, but it’s one that’s needed especially if you’ve got many games and kids as I do. We’ve got the DSi XL and the DS Lite and plenty of games to go with them that we just kept in a bag really which wasn’t the most protective way of doing things. I thought it was time to get something better, so I grabbed these and they work and they’re very inexpensive…

The Review::

 

The packaging isn’t special at all, just individual plastic bags for each case. It works.

 

You get five cases in five different colors, green, blue, black, white and red which really looks like pink. The cases are semi-transparent so you can see the games inside of them. The cases are made of plastic of course, and they’re lightweight but should protect the game cartridges.

 

The cases have an opening on the side of them to let you get a finger in there to open the cases.

 

The cases will hold six games each, they’re hinged and the cartridges are held on both sides.

 

Your game cartridges just snap into place.

 

There is an opening where the tops of the cartridges are, this is so you can easily pull the game cards out.

Conclusion:

 

So I said it was going to be a quick reviews and it was. They’re basic cases and there’s not much to them but they do serve a very important purpose and that is to protect your game cartridges.

The price is only $4.68 and shipping is free so that’s less that $5 for all of them and that’s pretty good.

The cases are plastic of course, but that’s to be expected as most things are these days really. Plastic is fine, it protects and it’s durable.

For what they are and what they cost I think they’re worth it to protect the games.
