The Review::

The GelaSkins comes in a plastic envelope basically with a cardboard backing for support while transporting.

Looking at the skins on the paper, it’s hard to see how they’ll fit on the PS3 controller. At least I thought it looked that way.

The skins are 3M Controltac, which I’ve had a lot of experience with. It’s good stuff really, it’s tough, durable and easy to apply and take off if need be.

So to get his show started I got out my PS3 controllers.

The skins are actually in seven pieces, so you’ve seven things to do with them, or actually fourteen since there’s two controllers. Here’s as close as I could really get so you can see the separate pieces.

So I took my time and for the most part I didn’t run into any major problems. It was tricky around the button since that whole section goes around the joystick as well. Other than that it all went very smoothly, and I’m very happy with the results.  The skins do have a slight texture to them, so you will feel it under our thumbs as you hold the controller. It’s not a bad thing though, I like it.

Here’s a bunch of pictures from different angles:

Conclusion:

I like products that really have no flaws, they’re easy to review. I also like products that make me happy, and these do. The GelaSkins PS3 Controller Skin is great way to protect and add a bit of style to your controllers. I can easily recommend this to anyone I think. Sure the Union Jack might not be your style, but Gaming Zap does have other styles for you to pick from.
