Yep, more E3 news…

Battlefield Hardline. Halo 5. Little Big Planet 3. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Super Smash Brothers. Assassins Creed Unity. These are just some of the top titles that have been trending across the internet all week causing gaming fans of all ages to be thrilled with excitement. Today, GameStop, a family of specialty retail brands that make the most popular technologies affordable and simple, is celebrating the advancement and innovation of the video game industry that was on full display at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

Whether it was the spectacle EA displayed during their press conference with Battlefield Hardline, to the future of how we play games using virtual reality, or bringing back a classic franchise such as Halo, this year’s E3 has proven once again that the video game industry continues to introduce new innovation for the world to enjoy.

GameStop is bringing the best of E3 home to its more than 6,600 global store locations and offering gaming fans of all ages the opportunity to pre-order their favorite games. Today, customers can visit a GameStop store, or www.GameStop.com to pre-order the hottest upcoming games revealed at E3.

“E3 is the marquee event in the video gaming world. A time for new products, technologies, and the opportunity for developers and publishers to show to the world what they have to offer,” said Tony Bartel, president of GameStop. “We are excited to be working closely with our partners to bring these new innovative gaming products to our consumers with great bonuses through our reservation program.”

Not only is GameStop offering customers various pre-order bonuses on many of these titles, it is also providing customers trade-in value for their pre-owned games to help them purchase more games through its buy-sell-trade program. Today, through June 22, PowerUp Rewards Pro members will receive a 40% bonus on any games or accessories traded toward the pre-order of any titles announced at E3.

For gamers that may not have purchased a next-generation gaming console yet, but have been intrigued by everything shown at E3, GameStop has a great offer. Running today through June 22, customers that trade-in any gaming system toward the purchase of either a Sony PlayStation® 4 or Microsoft Xbox One will receive an extra 50% bonus credit for their trade value.
